Do you REALLY lose more weight FASTER eating very low carb?
Or is eating fewer calories from ANY FOOD group and burning more than you eat help you lose weight faster?
I'm in a wedding in 6 weeks and trying to lose the most that I can the fastest way? Like 3lbs each week. I have from 8:30-1:30 daily to work on this but I am finding with ultra low carb, I have NO ENERGY but I'm able to eat around 1000 calories with no major hunger pains. Should I go back and forth between the 2?
What's your opinion???? What's been your success?

I just looked at your food Diary and I'm not sure your Macros are right. the carbs look pretty high to me.
A low Carber should be getting no more than 30gms of carbs a day.
I work to a 65% Fat, 35% protein 5% Carbs split and the weight is falling off me, especially since I introduce Cardio in week 2.0 -

Hold protein and cals constant and fat loss will be the same0 -
Well if you are eating only 1000 calories, its no wonder you have no energy. You should be eating more no matter what plan you choose but when you go low carb your energy level will return in a few days, just make sure you are getting enough protein and enough fat.0

I am doing low carb (low junk carbs)
Counting carbs made it simple for me cut out the stuff that is high in calories and sugar.
i can't justify skipping my lunch for the birthday cake in the office on low carb … because i'm not just looking at calories.
BUT it comes down to everyone is different though i think ... you have to do what works for you and what you can stick with for life???
for me working out every day and cutting out sugar / carbs (which really just means cutting out the junk food for me) worked!
i hope i make sense (prob not)
GOOD LUCK!
*EDIT p.s. I was cashing in at probably 200-300 carbs a day And I wasn't even working out! (a lot of the carbs came from low fat crap and junk nice combo huh lol) SO when I shocked my body by going down on carbs I was so tired and then all of a sudden I felt great. It was very draining for the first few days. You just have to keep yourself full on healthy things ... and drink a lot of water. OF COARSE everyone is different. lots of people love lots of carbs and can be super healthy and not have the junk!0 -
I have known many people who loss a lot of weight fast on a No Carb diet. With the lack of carbs and sugars, It puts you into Ketosis, a process that occurs when fats are converted into energy by the body . (Atkins and SouthBeach diets). You have a wedding to attend so keep your eye on the prize and hang in there.0
