A victory on the scale, but with a twist!!!

A couple of years ago, I joined a team weight loss competition at my workplace. At that time, I had recently stopped pumping breast milk for my son (I pumped for almost 14 months), and my weight had started to creep up again. My starting weight for the competition was 184 pounds...YIKES!!!

Today, I weighed myself while holding my nine-month-old daughter (who weighs 19 pounds herself). Together, we weighed 167.2 pounds. YAY!!!

Thanks! The number on the scale is nice (and a sign of hard work), but that is just a bonus. The real reward is spending quality time with my babies!!!
