No Appetite=Decreased Metabolism

For the past 2 days, I haven't had much of an appetite and completed my entries under my daily goal calorie intake. I get the "Not only is it difficult to receive adequate nutrition at these calorie levels, but you could also be putting your body into starvation mode. Starvation mode lowers your metabolism and makes weight loss more difficult." banner. Sooo am I supposed to force feed myself although I'm not hungry? Thanks!

I know that for me when I eat at a fairly low calorie level, I lose my appetite sometimes. If I'm way under calories, I have a snack, usually a few almonds, and most of the time that makes me ravenous, so I eat more. Occasionally, I'm really just not hungry. I try not to worry about occasional low calories days or occasional high calorie days. I do get concerned and make changes if it starts to become a trend, because I want to get fit, and I know I need to fuel my body for that to happen.
