I have a polar FT4 - i only got it a few months back but it no longer gets my heartrate - does anyone experience this? Does it have batteries that need changing etc?

Also, can you get smaller straps to fit small frames? Maybe it needs to be tighter?

    Have you cleaned your strap? Sometimes that helps. Yes, you can buy a smaller strap if you need one.

    The other option is that your batteries might need to be replaced.
