Hello ladies,

Did good this weekend despite not getting a workout in, but I think all the sweating I did riding in my truck with NO air conditioning makes up for that. I had a 4 hour trip to Gulf shores and then a 4 hour trip back. Plus all the riding around. I know I got all my water in tho. Hope yall had a great weekend.:drinker:

    ouch - no air - that's tough it was really hot here saturday but after some rain it was beautiful weather.

    jogged my week 8 day 1 C25k saturday - 2.75 miles! walked last night for an hour with my hubby and tonight is strength class.

    Did ok on calories but was over on fat grams - it's killer when you eat out but still holding onto my 73 pounds.

    I had a good weekend camping, but yesterday was really hot packing up. I think I did ok on my eating, and got some walks in. Just got back from the park with my dog. Have a good Monday!

    I got to the gym last Wednesday - it was the first time in 4 weeks. :sad: It kills me that I had that LONG of a period of time without stepping foot into my gym. Working this second job is killer on me, but I know that the $$ will be worth it in the long run. At least it's a physical job so that is helping me maintain my 30-35lbs lost. I really plan on getting on a better schedule. I think I'm going to start getting up to do at LEAST 20 minutes of some sort of video 3 days a week. It wont kill me, and I NEED it as a stress reliever. :bigsmile:

    I hope you ladies are doing well. I feel ya on NO A/C in a car....I did that for 2 or 3 years in the Florida summer heat - it sucked! Speaking of heat - OMG - it was 107 yesterday - WITHOUT the heat index. RIDICULOUS!

    Chrissy - CONGRATS on all your hard work. I'm going to start training with the C25K program, just have to work out my schedules. I'm excited though. AND, I saw your post about the Save The Tatas shirt - WOOOHOOO!!! That's SOOOOOOOOO exciting.

    I stopped the C25K beause of time but I want to start it again soon weather perminting. Next year I want to run the walk for the cure.

    I am so proud of you for continuing to try to work exercise in! Keep at it!

    I love kickboxing or Taebo as a stress reliever! :laugh:

    I am sure that both of you can do the program, Opera and smadag. Chrissy is an inspiration to us all, isn't she? She almost makes me want to run, even though my arthritis won't let me! :)
    I think the heat is kicking us all. When we packed to come home from Oklahoma yesterday, it was 110 there. It is already 92 here, and we expect to hit 100. I think I will exercise at the pool today!

    Everyone keep going after those goals, and don't let the heat get you down!

    Chrissy has been my insiration on many things. I might try running later when it gets cooler out. Right now i am just trying to stay on course.
