When I was 6 my appendix ruptured and they gutted me on the operating table. now 30 years later when I lose weight I get these very intense pains. They say I have a ton of scare tissue attached to my guts so when things shrink and move I get these pains because my guts are turning and swisting. Doctors also told me no fruit, veggies or nuts. how can a guy eat healthy with out those nd stay motivated when they tell me as long as I work out and lose I have to suffer these horrible pains? have you had them... what did you do? thanks for any tips

My husband's appendix ruptured when he was 8 or 10 yrs old. He has a really bad scar, but has never experienced any problems until recently. He went to the doctor just this week about it. He describes his pain more as discomfort, a pulling feeling, but can tell it is related to the old scar area. No suggestions from the doctor, except to let him know if it gets worse. His pains started about a month ago. He has lost 56 lbs now.

it is horrible. It makes it so i cant even stand up. no sleep and let me tell you I have a pretty hi pain tolerence. I have had broken bones, cut my toe with a chainsaw, been hit by rolling tree, and nothing as bad as these pains. I called our holistic doctor and he has some stuff for me.. its worth a shot, regular docs say they cant do anything
  • Good luck to you gbg49229. I hope your holistic doctor can help with the pain.
