Looking for sahm map friends

I am a sahm mom with 3 little ones 5, 3 and 5months. I've been overweight my whole life and I'm looking for other mommies on here that have similar goals or have already reached their goals to help motivate each other. I'm ready to commit and lose this weight and am looking for others who feel the same.
I'm not too sure what to do with my goals right now I am exclusively breastfeeding my 5month old. Right now I have my goals set to lose 1lb per week and my only exercise is a walk with the children a couple of times a week. I'm looking into a gym membership or an elliptical for our home but money is tight and I'll have to see if we can make this work.

I am still a sahm but my youngest is 16. I remember the days of young ones and trying to balance losing weight and breast feeding. It wasn't easy but making good food choices and even taking those walks will help. Doing things like lying on your back and lifting the little one up and down is fun and excellent weight training! Just fitting in things like that will go a long way. Having an exercise machine is handy. I never could afford a gym membership or the time to get to one. We finally got a good used treadmill for $200 after doing a lot of research.
For me the end of the day always was, and still is, my weakest time probably because I'm tired. Being proactive and accountable will be huge in your success.

congrats on your baby.
The most affordable gym is planet fitness if you have one nearby. I pay $10 a month. ours is really nice. i have heard some aren't so nice. it think it is all one how it is ran. no childcare but if you can escape for an hour that would work.
feel free to add me. I was in your shoes not too long ago. I have lost 40 lbs part of it while breastfeeding.0 -

Backwoodsmom I definitely agree with you about accountability I'm hoping some extra support here and my own determination will help me to adopt a healthier lifestyle0
