Need ideas to flatten my belly in 2 days!

I am going to a party on Sat night and would like to wear a dress that I ~almost~ look good in, except for some belly bulge. Any ideas about how I can keep the belly bulge down over the next 2 days? I am not looking for a cleanse or any specific diet, just some tips on what to avoid. For example, I have read that chewing gum and eating popcorn both cause bloat because they put air in your stomach. I might have also read that nuts cause bloat. (True?) These are all things I eat usually but could avoid between now and Sat. I know high sodium is bad too. Anything else to avoid?

Another thought was to eat foods that are natural diuretics to avoid water retention--e.g., asparagus. Any other foods that help particularly to reduce bloat?

Other ideas?
