"Starting Strength" - Mark Rippletoe
"5/3/1" (2nd edition) - Jim Wendler
It depends on how new you are at lifting. If you're brand new definitely checkout Mark's book first. Once you get to a more intermediate level you can move into 5/3/1 or even go to Joe DeFranco's site and read his "Westside for Skinny *kitten* 3" article.0 -
