I like to exercise with any music that's got a driving, constant beat, regardless of who the artist is or when it was released ... if it can pound a rhythm into my head and make me forget I'm exercising, I want it on my ipod! Currently I've been listening to a lot of top 40 like Lady Gaga, LMFAO, and Nicki Minaj, and also Moby and Chemical Bros. (I think most of the songs I listen to have already been mentioned!) I get bored with the songs really fast, and then I start mentally whining about how I'm tired and I hate exercising, so I am glad to see this conversation topic ... maybe I'll get some new ideas for workout music. :)

I think I must be the only one that listens to pop-punk and 'rock' music when I work out. Think Blink 182/Sum 41/Bowling for Soup/Queen etc etc.

I thought of a few more this morning......

The ONE Nicki Minja song I like....Super Bass!

Someone mentioned New Order.... The Perfect Kiss is pretty great too.

Shake It Out by Florence + The Machine is slower but motivating.

    Starlight by Muse

it depends what im in the mood for:
I have some Funk (gap band, george clinton, rick james, hot cholcolate)
I have Disco: (Donna summer, bee gees, etc)
I have club (old 80's mixes to current music)
and merengue, salda, reggaton (for those wanna work the stress out days)
