Short women

I am very new to this, just signed up and I really don't have any idea how it all works so please feel free to add me!
So this question is for SHORT WOMEN. I am only 4'11 and need to be around 110 for my healthy weight.
I would like to lose about 40 pounds by my 25th birthday in August.
I need advice on what to do to lose this weight because I know it is very different from women of normal height.
I know the rules must be more strict since a few extra calories a day for me compared to a woman of 5'6 can mean a good amount of extra weight too!
Any advice for short women and what we need to do differently to lose the weight!
Thanks!!!

Well i'm 5" and unfortunately the only thing that I find that works super well for us short women, is a consistent workout at least five times a week. I know it makes me sad too lol.0

I'm 4'10 and I've gotten great advice and great information from friends here on FP. Briefly, first thing you need to do is check your BMR calories and try to eat about 200 calories more than that per day. Add some cario and some resistance training or weight training to build muscle mass so that you can more easily burn your fat. If you eat less than your BMR, you will burn lean mass instead of the fat mass you want to get rid of.
Give yourself some time to adjust and don't get down on yourself if your calories are too high once in awhile. Good luck!0 -

5'1" here. No, there is nothing different that you do compared to other people. You eat decent and work out. Make sure to eat the right amount of calories or you will stall. This goes for everyone else, pretty much.0
