today is april 26, I'm 140 and would like to be 128 by mid July so that's 12 pounds
I don't have a lot to lose and the weight comes off slower the less heaver you become soo
is this achievable?

Yes. I lost 60 pounds in about 5.5 months. It takes A LOT of exercise and hard work, but it is achievable for sure.

I joined in February and lost 16lb in that month. Probably some water weight loss but also I was very motivated. March and April were more difficult for various reasons but I've been able to maintain the loss at least, although my original goal of 2 stone by the end of May might not be realistic now! Good luck - feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like to compare notes!

As of today I’m down 13 pounds and I started on April 15th, so it is possible.

For sure. I have been losing approximaely 11 pounds per month (BTW this has been approved by my medical doctor). This takes a lot of hard work exercising and truely changing your lifestyle in terms of food type and amount. You can do it if you choose to.

The faster you lose weight, the most likely you will put it right back on. Take your time and go slow.

If you have not been "dieting" at all.. then yes.. it's probably achievable. In the first week or two most people drop a little extra weight b/c of the changes, less sodium, less sugar, less calories, more movement. Then after a couple weeks you will probably stabilize at about 1 lb per week. Good luck!!

I started on April 6th. So far I have lost 9lbs. So... Yes, I think with a little work you can do it!
