Treadmill Troubles

I believe the treadmill, dreadmill for the correct name, is a mental thing for sure. I hate running on one, but as some have stated, is a necessary evil sometimes. I have one major tip for all those running on a treadmill or considering it. Set the incline between 1 and 2 %! This will help you better emulate running outside. It's a bit harder, but you will get use to it.
As for the bordum, I just try to bury myself in my music. I also have friends that listen to audio books while running on the treadmill. Anything that will distract you should work.

HIIT is the way to go to kill boredom on the treadmill.

Trying to do one continuous pace on a treadmill is excruciating. Whereas, HIIT intervals are actually pretty fun.0 -
