What has helped you with tightening it up? Suggestions plz!

I've been training for my first half marathon and have lost 11lbs in the process. I have toned up slightly from doing weights at home once per week and boot camp once per week. I don't have time for much more strength training than that right now because of keeping up with running for the half.

BUT, once I've completed the half marathon next month I really want to focus on tightening everything up, getting really toned and strong. Not run so much probably.

Does anyone suggest a program, video or book or anything to get strong and tighten it all up? What has worked best for you?

I good results with Jackie Warner's Personal Training DVD and Jari Love's Get Ripped. If you don't do much strength training their a good start off point.

New Rules of Lifting for Women.

I'm a runner turned lifter and this has been an awesome intro to lifting and still insanely challenging. I'm almost done with Stage 1. I've already noticed a good number of changes in my body (I've got the hip/thigh V!! WOO!) . Inches are still coming off and I can see differences in how I look and how my clothes fit.

I'm such a fan of this book. I'm not following the diet plan specifically, but have reduced drastically my carbs (hey, I'm a marathoner...we like carbs...) and upped the protein. It's been a lot of fun and a great challenge without taking hours and hours of time each week (like your running probably does :)).

Check it out at the library to see if you like it, but I recommend purchasing it. I refer to the book often.
