Clean Eating......

I realize there is already forums and topics covering this but hoping some people might help me out !
I just started trying to incorporate the "clean eating" lifestyle into our lives. I am not a person who believes in a diet that helps you lose all your weight and then you are stuck trying to figure out how to keep it off. I am hoping to continue this as a lifestyle!
Do you have any good tips/recipes??
I am also headed for a four day weekend away with my family and our best friends family and hoping for some inspiration on how to manage clean eating while eating out all weekend.
Thanks!

HUGE SUGGESTION!! Go to your book store and buy "Eat Clean Diet Recharged" by Tosca Reno... NO IT IS NOT A DIET It teaches you everything you need to know abouteating clean.. there is even tips and tricks for situations like your weekend coming up.
My advice would be stay away from white sugar and white flours... When away also try and stay way from dessert... usually people cook pretty healthy stuff when hosting.. because its delicous and more fancy looking. You should be alright.. if your concerned about drinking... I dont know if your a beer gal, maybe go to lighter drinks... dont mix with pop... Just pace yourself,0 -
That is the first book I bought!! LOVE it!!
I am not a drinker so that is pretty easy for me!! I think it's the quick lunches and breakfasts that are going to be tricky. And all the snack food I LOVED when we were travelling. It's about 6 hours by car so.......... lots of snacks to pack!0 -
