belly fat

My typical exercise consists of using the elliptical, bike, treadmill and the pieces of equipment geared for the abs and arms. I have been losing weight around my thighs, hips, butt, legs and arms... What I haven't seen is my belly go down. I am watching the amount of carbs and bread that I am eating and have made some wonderful alternative choices to bread to compensate. BUT... should I add a supplement in that targets the ab region or what are others doing that have given results to losing the belly fat?

Thank you for the help

There is no supplement that will target belly fat. As you lose weight, you'll eventually lose it from all over. My problem spot was my hips and they were the last area to lose significant inches. It wasn't until the last 10 pounds of my 30 pound weight loss that I saw a big difference.

Bottom line: don't waste your hard earned money on products that won't work (and are not proven to work) and just keep doing what you are doing. We all have one area more stubborn than others and you will eventually lose fat in your belly.

^^^This. It will disappear but there is no way to prioritize losing in one area over another. Every body has its own lineup of fat areas to store and then remove fat and for you I would guess your stomach is first on, last off. It sucks but You can help the way it looks by toning the muscles in that area so when the fat does come off the muscle can help add definition. I highly recommend yoga and belly dancing for strengthening those core muscles!
  • Just keep eating healthy and working out. it will come off. Some months i lose nothing off my hips then one month ill lose 4 inches. Every persons different just keep working :)
