how many calories to eat??

I have been reading and seem to be even more confused about this. It says 1200 calories for me and I am gonna start Insanity sometime next week after it arrives. Do I eat also the calories I burn off? Or only a portion of what I burn?

Eat the calories back to net what it tells you to net.
