My boss who is a senior director has one of those. He's completely without pretense. He's great.

I was telling my kids about calculator watches the other day. My brother and I both got one for Christmas back in the 80's. They thought I was crazy. That is too funny.

Made me laugh just on principle. Kind of like a mullet or acid washed jeans.

Well, maybe it's stuck in the attic or basement where **** like that belongs.

But to answer your question, I've seen watches around necks on a necklace, on belt loops and in purses (not being worn).

    So...

They still sell these things brand new. They've changed a little bit since the '80s, but not much. Here's an example from Amazon:

    http://www.amazon.com/Casio-CA53W-Databank-Calculator-Watch/dp/B000GB1R7S/ref=sr_1_2?s=watches&ie=UTF8&qid=1335558499&sr=1-2

Hey, for $15, you can't go wrong!

Umm yeah...she has fallen victim to some very poor fashion decisions. You should have helped her and broke it!

I saw a watch on a lady's ankle once while I was waiting for court. Wondered why the heck she'd wear it there, then I realized it wasn't a watch. :ohwell:

My brother has one. He wears it every day and is very proud of it.
May I add that my brother is a 21-year-old nuclear engineering senior? This might explain his nerdiness. I love him :)
