Keto-ers

Hi,

I have been following the keto diet, and it's been sometimes a bit difficult. I'm working really hard but not seeing much of a difference in myself. I've lost about 13 ponds but not sure if it's all water weight, and it's been taking a while.

Anyone successful on the keto diet? Anyone have any super tips?

I sometimes have the atkins "low carb" bars...which I realized where mislabeled..since they calculate net carbs differently than keto.

Does anyone have those bars and feel like they stay on keto? Any advice on some easy snacks to go that are low carb..and other than nuts and cheese...I feel like that's all I eat.

And should my cholesterol be okay with the diet since it's so much fat?

    Mine's ok, on >65% calories from fat.

    cheese, nuts, seeds, 85 or 90% cocoa chocolate, "Fridge raider" chicken snacks, beef jerky (low carb), sausage / chorizo / pepperami

    Have you verified you are in keto? How long have you been on it to lose 13lbs? Are you carbing back up? I would not recommend the bars BTW.

    and yeah, I verified I am in keto, but I got off for two days, going back on now.

    I agree...the bars are stupid and I don't eat them. And I am not carbing back up.
