Hi,
I've only just found this site and have been reading some old posts and new with interest. I was always a slimming world fan and lost 1st on it after having my daughter. It's now crept back on after giving up smoking in Dec 2011 and i;m now finding it very hard to lose anything and change my eating habits.

Really could do with some pointers on what to eat as i'm ALWAYS hungry!! and thinking about the next meal and what i can have..

Hope to speak to some of you soon

Leesa

Pack yourself full of GREEN vegetables (NOT potatoes, carrots).

Eat things like broccoli, greens, cabbage, chinese cabbage, and so on. (For example, make a huge omlette with a few eggs, and ridiculously large amounts of broccoli, cabbage, zucchini, cauliflower, etc.)

Stuff your face with green vegetables and you won't be hungry.

Then, just absolutely slash your carbohydrate intake. Eliminate fruits, rice, pasta, potatoes/carrots, bread, and of course sugar, cakes and sweets.

If you do that the weight will fall off you at a very rapid pace!

Again, stuff your face with GREEN VEGETABLES until it's coming out your ears!!

    Hi and welcome :)

I'm from NE England and I have 2 children. Feel free to add me as a friend, I've found building a support network helps.

For me, exercise is my biggest friend as well as tracking everything I eat. Knowing people can read your food diary really helps you decide what to eat!

    Hi and thank you

I'm still getting my head around this site and trying to understand the calorie counting! I really am finding hard to change from sw thinking and i know i need to but not easy!
  • Fiber - oatmeal for breakfast ... things that will stay with you for a long time. Greens for lunch, you can eat till your full - but not blow your calorie count.

Exercise is key... and tracking everything.

Good luck - you've taken the first step - welcome to the club!

Feel free to friend me if you want

Try drinking a tall glass of water when you feel the hunger pangs. What does your exercise schedule look like? Your hunger pangs are a natural process your body goes through when your trying to get to your ideal weight.

I would say it's somewhat similar to kicking drug! Your body is being denied certain level of comfort... Fight the good fight...
