I just agreed to do a charity run on May 19 called "The Gauntlet" (which is an obstacle mud run event) with some of my friends that I work out with at the gym. They talked me into doing it even though I told them I wanted to be in it NEXT YEAR, which turned into this year becuase they need one more person for their team. I am so nervous. The course is somewhere between 1 to 2 miles long (which isn't bad but I am not a great runner) and includes at least 2 mud pits, 2 pipe crawls, a 40 ft I beam balance, tire obstacles, a wheelbarrow maze, a gated hill, hay bale and cargo net climbs and who knows what else. OMG what did I agree to do in just over 20 days from now? Wish me luck and please pass along any training tips.
