Ok. So I know this is a bit cruel but I have to ask anyways.
I am going to a bachelorette party in a few weeks and I am going to make chocolate fondue and a caramel spread. What do you think I should bring to dip them? I was thinking strawberries, apple, banana, grapes, cherries, marshmallows and pretzels. Any other suggestions?

I've had chocolate fondue with pineapple too! (sounds weird but delicious!)

And pound cake or angel food cake!

When I read your topic title I was thinking "everything!" lol. Yes I've made chocolate fondue before popular choices are the ones you mentioned. Although grapes and chocolate seem like a weird combo to me, also cherries might be an issue with the pits. the marshmallows are my fave, and pretzels. if you have graham crackers you can make a quick and easy smore by dipping and sandwiching the marshmallows yum! also you can try freezing the banana slices and it gives a nice hot/cold combo.

Sounds fun! I went to a fondu party for a bachelorette get together last fall, but I digress.

Hmm, how about plain (or almond) biscotti or pizzelles?

Hope you have a great time!

    Biscotti
    Dried Mangos
    Coconut Macaroons
Animal Crackers (might be hard to dip but I would manage it)
    Wafer cookies

    Now I'm practically fantasizing...! LOL!!!
     :blushing:

Wow thanks for the great ideas .... my belly is rumbling in agreement!
So many of those I didn't think of! I love rice krispies so I will definitely have to get those. And some dried fruit, pound cake, and graham crackers.

Hey do you think it would work if I cut ice cream into cubes or will that just make a mess?

Another one I found on the internet was croissants and doughnuts....
this definitely isn't going to be a healthy party. But that's ok. I'll plan for it and dance it off!

    Thanks again for the ideas!:drinker:

The more the merrier! If you can make your way to Orillia, Ontario you are all invited! I'm not hosting the party but as long as you bring some yummy food I don't think you will be turned away. But be sure to keep your calorie counting to yourself at the party ....
