    Do you have issues? If people empathize with you regarding those, they probably have issues of their own. I find people without issues to be just about boring as all hell. On the other hand, though, there's something to be said about people who don't bring any drama into your life.

    You just want to take care of them. I have the same problem - i tend to go for women with baggage. Lots and lots of baggage.

    I'm thinking of getting a dog instead.

    Yes. Reminds me of the Katt Williams bit where he talks about women who keep attracting $hitty guys. After several times, you should probably start wondering what it is about your $%^^& that keeps attracting $hitty guys. There is one common denominator in your relationships. That would be you.

    On the flip side, most people are downright terrible people. Keep looking! ;)

    ^^This. We all have issues. If you say you don't, you're either lying to yourself or have led a safe, boring life. There's also a difference between issues/baggage and drama. Stay away from the drama lovers.

    Exactly. Besides, everyone I know -- including myself, and including my significant other WHOM I HAVE BEEN WITH FOR ALMOST THREE YEARS -- has issues. Issues don't mean a failed relationship or a failed friendship. Failure just means that someone was unwilling to put in the work to understand the other person, unwilling to put in the work to improve themselves, or both.

    everyone has baggage, it's how you HANDLE your OWN baggage that really matters!!! you can't expect someone else to "fix" or help you deal with your own stuff if they aren't dealing with their own, and vice versa!

    what do you consider "issues?"
