I found this article on Livestrong. I wonder how many of these foods are we eating in our diets today? I was surprised that I include a fair amount of them into my diet today with this new way that I am eating. I just thought that it was interesting.

same with me, of the above list, almost all of them are regular items i buy when i go grocery shopping.
but Edamame & Flaxseed i've never even heard of before.
ever since i've started going healthy 2 years ago i ONLY buy fresh produce, which is basically a lot of fruits & veggies...0 -
Flax seeds are very good for you. High in Omega-3 and fiber. Unless you are baking with them, buy flax seed meal. I sprinkle it on my cereal for extra healthy cheerios, plus it has a yummy nutty taste. You can usually find it in the baking aisle if your store carries Bob's Red Mill products.
Edamame if not fresh, in the frozen foods veggie aisle.0 -
