Does this make sense... walking a mile in 12 minutes loses the same amount of calories, as running the same mile in 6 minutes?

Running burns more per mile than walking.... in general.0

I burn a lot more walking fast up hill because I can last a lot longer than I can when i run.
also, my knees and ankles seem to hurt a lot less although I get crazy blisters either way. I'll walk 90 minutes on a treadmill with a 15 incline at 4.2 miles per our over just about anything if burning calories is my goal.0
