Today, I am starving! I was craving a fast food breakfast so bad this morning, but I managed to eat oatmeal and shredded wheat instead. Now, 2 hours later, all I can think about is FOOOOOOD!! I am having some serious cravings... CHIPOTLE!! I already know we are probably going to have pizza for dinner, so I planned on eating light the rest of the day. How can I satisfy my desire for food through the day and still have enough calories for pizza tonight?

I think you are starving because you have only had starch carbs.....have a few walnuts and it has healthy fat and protein and it will make you feel full. Few meaning 3 pieces not a large handful.
It's okay if you have a high calorie day...rather than starving yourself to eat something you want.....you mess with your metabolism and it isn't good. Just enjoy the day and go back to healthy eating tomorrow.
A balanced meal of protein, fat, carbs will keep you feeling full.....and more energetic....rather than the carb (Chinese food) effect...meaning you eat starches...then you feel hungry after! I used to be able to eat a whole pizza myself due to the Starch effect. I found out I feel horrible now eating all that bread! I have to use portabello mushrooms as a crust and load it with veggies and cheese to eat "pizza"
Anyway, think of your metabolism like your car engine....if you run on fumes all day, is that good for the car???? It's sure not good for your bod to run on fumes !!

What about a few jumping jacks here and there throughout the day?0 -

I just ate some triscuits and hummus. I like your pizza idea.

If you are really only 9 pounds away from your target weight (and probably a super aggressive target) then eat what you want. One day in your life will not destroy you or deter your body from the end result.
If you are really craving food like crazy, listen to your body. If it's protein you are craving, then your body is telling you it is lacking in that area. It really works this way with real cravings (like nicotine withdrawl)
Go eat something, then have fun with your pizza for dinner.0 -
