At the start of 2009 I decided this was the year to "get the weight off" once and for all. I'm in my early 50's and my family heritage includes obesity, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes. From January until May I messed around with no particular program and found that I had lost exactly 1 pound from January 1st's weigh-in. So. A member of the teaching staff told me his wife was using this site and I decided to check it out. Counting calories is my optimal method anyway and I get plenty of exercise and I love the electronic diary that keeps track of everything for you. I started June 3rd and as of today, 3 weeks into it, I have lost 6.5 pounds. This site is the greatest!
