Me: Male, 50ish, 222lbs at start. Target 170lbs by September
Targeting just over 1500 cal per day net.
Not exercising a lot, but walking when I can. Will do some biking and strength training real soon now.
High protein: 40 to 50%
Carbs: under 30% as much as possible. No grains, no potato, no pasta, no rice
Coffee! Ice Tea no sugar. Lots of water
Light beer only, with a few lapses
)
Watermelon, but otherwise no fruits or fruit juices
Nuts for snacks — almonds mostly.
Very little cheese. Non-fat dairy only, and a minimum of that.
I'm doing pretty good, hitting my calorie goal most days, otherwise never over 2000 so still ok.
I miss Pizza!!!

Sounds pretty strict-will you be able to stick to it long term? Won't the weight come back if you go back to previous eating habits?0
