I recently got an iPhone and decided to start using myfitnesspal. In 2006, I weighed 217 lbs and started a food diary and got down to 170lbs by 2010. Then I hit age 40 and the weight slowly started creeping back up. The life got busy again, and attempts at the food diary started and stopped, and i find myself back to 194lbs. So I am hoping having the fitness pal on my phone will help me keep on track. I just started and am hoping it works out. I am used to weighing my food rather than using 1/2 cup or 12 grapes, etc. I am hoping I will find my way around and this will become second nature. I am an accountant and sit on my butt all day but have discovered food diaries work for me because it is all about numbers....

On easter weekend, I decided to start getting up early so I could do a circuit training dvd before work each day. My goal is to do it at least 5 times a week and throw in a few walks as well.

I to get up early to workout. I can't get enough motivation in the afternoon or evening. Besides it wakes you up and i find my mind is more sharp doing that. Good luck to you
