I was hoping to find out who all plans their weeks out? And if you do then how much do you plan and how?

I don't plan my week so much because I pretty much stick to about the same stuff week to week. But, I do plan my day the night before so that I can be on target for calories and nutrient macros.0

I plan ahead so I can stay within my macros. I usually only plan a day or 2 at a time. I find that if I plan too far ahead, I tend to change my mind too often, then it becomes useless!0

I plan my week so far as I know what I'm eating and when, just because I only ever buy the exact groceries I need.
Individual days, I pre-log in the morning or the night before. I already know what meals I'm having, but I can then fit in my snacks and work out individual portions within those meals.0 -
I try to plan the meals the day before, so that I can then see where I am with my macros and what my snacks should be to make up the shortfalls.0

I plan the day before as well. Being on a three-to-four-meal schedule, I allow one or two meals where I can change my mind.0

I am another one who plans a day in advance. Today I have had a roast chicken dinner, and living alone leaves me with a lot of chicken. So I cook extra veggies and make a dinner for the next day. I usually cut out potatoes if I am having a repeat dinner for lunch the next day as it is too high in calories.
I also batch cook. Just the usuals like soup, bolognese and chilli but they do help me plan if I am going to be tight with time through the working week0 -
I have always tended to plan at least a week's worth of meals ahead of time, even before starting to lose weight---it's a good way to get a good balance of foods throughout the week. However, even though I assign meals to certain days, I often will move things around (i.e., switch meal for Tuesday to Thursday and have what I planned for Thursday on Tuesday), depending on work load and other scheduled activities through the week. I generally will fill in my food diary a day ahead or that morning with the primary things I'll be eating. That tells me what I can add to my meals/snacks in the way of foods or beverages, so that I don't end up hoarding calories until late in the day and not get them eaten through the day. The overall view helps me to have a variety of foods through the day, too.0

I plan my dinners by the week and figure out what I am going to eat which day based off my schedule and the weather (for stuff on the grill). I also plan a few breakfast and lunch options, but not what day I will have what because sometimes you just crave some tuna salad that day. Finally, I have a large selection of snacks on hand to mix and match to fit within my macros and my calorie needs.
Also, I play my workouts for the week because I rotate it daily. As such, I want to know ahead of time what I am doing.0 -
Usually only plan the following day before hand so I have my meals ready to go0

I usually plan each night for the next day, but thats really as far as I can go.0

I try to plan a few days in advance, at the very least a day in advance. I find that if I plan out what I'm going to eat, I'm way less likely to eat something bad just for the convenience0
