did you use a hrm.? i spent 60 minutes doing cardio today and burnt 750 and was thinking this seemed very high calorie estimation for 60 minutes... how much do you weigh and your age if you dont mind me asking so i can compare? what hrm do you have? i wondering if mine is accurate or if i need to invest in a new one. x

I weigh 158 ponds as of today in gym and those cals I burnt are with my weight and I am 33 years old.

1)I did Eliptical Trainer for 65 min = 706 cals

    2) I did row machine for 5 min = 45 cals

    Sorry, can you expand hrm?

if its heart rate monitor, its in the eliptical machine at the commercial gym

my average hr was 79 and max was 100

ah the machines are probably greatly overestimating your calorie burn.. especially if your hear rate was max 100, i seriously doubt you burned 700 calories in that time at your weight..

I don't think so, they are big time commercial grade machines.
