SO once or twice a week i have quite a high calorie burn of about 800-1200 calories as for one of my part time jobs I take 3 or 4 hour hikes and tend to go to the gym that day also.
My problem is this, on a day where I've had little or no extra exercise I manage quite well on my 1320 allowance. When I exercise, I am hungry but struggle to eat my calories without adding high calorie bad carbs and just general non nutritious food. I tend to crave a quick fix to keep me going as well.
Any suggestions for slightly higher calorie post exercise foods/meals that will make me feel satsified without adding more rubbish to my diet? (I manage to do this myself on normal days lol!)
Thanks for any advice.
