Ok this may be a dumb question but.. I read yesterday you are supposed to eat above your BMR. Since, well that's what your body needs to function "properly" My BMR is ~1580. MFP had me at 1400 cals. I realized that when I upped it around 1700 I lost more. Does anyone know how I can figure out how many cals I should actually be eating? / How much above my BMR?
If it matters I work out 5x a week for 1 hour minimum. I only put "lightly active" on MFP because I am worried it will overestimate my calorie allowance. =/ Should I change this?
