plateau advice

I've been stuck around my current weight of 147 for over a month.

I'm thinking about eating at maintenance for a week to see if that will jump start my loss again. I have about another 17 lbs to go to my goal weight. I rarely do the same exercise routine two days in a row.

My diary is open if you want to see what I've been eating. I'm almost always under my net for the day. I have a decent amount of veggies and fruit every day although that may not be obvious since I do a lot of recipes with the veggies added (like the tofu lasagna).

  • I plateau for two months and finally jump started the weight loss by adding to my exercise program and upping my calorie intake.

    Perusing the last week of your log, it seems like your sodium is always over by near 1,000. Maybe you are retaining water weight? I tend to shuffle my macros when I plateau, specifically lowering my carbs and sugar. I find they tend to make the weight more stubborn.

    I think you should eat at maintenance for a week and then get started again. That's what I'm doing... although I more or less got sick and it stopped my progress, so I don't think it was a real plateau.

    im trying calorie cycling to get out of a plateau. Try it maybe ? Im not sure if its working yet.

    If you are willing to try anything, first up your calories and increase your exercise. Make sure to mix it up too.
    If this doesnt work in a month or so, start calorie cycling. Good luck.
