Goodbye SuperSized Clothes!!!

I just bagged up a bunch of my very large sized clothes to give away! What a great feeling! I tried on the pants and shirt that I was wearing in the picture of myself that finally made me realize it was to time to make a change when I saw it. Seeing how big they were was kind of emotional. I still feel like I have a long way to go but I'm proud that I've come so far. I kept the outfit as a reminder and for future motivation. I'll put some pics up another time, it's really unbelievable that I was wearing that this time last year.......Thanks, as always, to my friends and the entire MFP community for encouraging me along the way! :-)

Congratulations! I have a bunch of clothes that I can't wear anymore either - it's SO awesome to put on stuff that didn't look good or even fit right before and find that it's too big now. Such a great feeling!

I've been doing the same thing. My wife doesn't understand this. She's kinda jealous of my weight loss though because of the weight she's put on with her meds. She keeps telling me just put them in the other room you never know if you might need them again. I'm like well if i get rid of them i'll have to think about it and make a change when or if i gain.

Definitely going to keep that one outfit. It really is shocking to me how big the clothes were. I still have another 55ish pounds to, can’t wait to say the same thing about what I’m wearing right now. :happy:

I enjoy reading success stories - and since I'm a guy, the guys' stories, (when they have the nerve to post pictures, not some paid P90X ad) of how successful they've been motivate me.
