Why can't I lose?

If anyone is bored or just in the mood to be helpful I'd appreciate feedback on my diet/exercise. I exercise approximately 90 minutes a day (cardio) plus I walk a lot. I know I should strength train, but I've never seen results from it despised I just don't like it. I do love hard cardio, though!

I've been eating 1600 to 2000 calories a day. I know people might say this is low, but I feel full most of the time. I also wonder if I'm underestimating? I do measure and weigh food and eat out as little as possible, though. Anyway, look at my diaries and tell me what I'm doing wrong!

P.s. I'm female, 5'10", 31 years old, approx 160 lbs. I just found out I'm slightly hypothyroid although I out I can blame that. Just started levothroxine

Thank you!!

Hmmm... well, I'm a little shorter, a little older and a little heavier than you are, but if I do 90 minutes of cardio I'll burn about 1100-1200 calories in that time. So if your BMR is somewhere around 1400 and then you add on 1000 cardio burn, you need to eat more to lose weight. I don't know how to look at your diary, and I have NO professional designation at all... I'm just a neurotic runner who is a little over-the-top with the nerdy science of it all. That's my explanation though... eat BMR plus your workout calories. Don't count normal everyday stuff like walking to the store or whatever. You will create a calorie deficit just from your regular non-athletic activity of somewhere between 500-1000 calories and should be able to lose 1 lb/week that way.

You can make your diary public but right now only friends can see it. When I first joined MFP I would not eat my exercise calories and I was spinning 3 to 5 days a week. A year later I have finally started eating more of my exercise calories even when I'm not hungry and it works. You need to eat more

You really should do resistance training! I know you said you don't like it, but it does amazing things to your body.

Do you weigh all of your food? If you are guessing then you are probably guessing wrong.
Is your cardio intense? And 90 min 7 days a week?
I don't think that 1600 seems low, but go to fat2fitradio and tell us what your bmr is, also are you netting 1600 or eating 1600. How do you calculate calories burned?

Thanks everyone! Friend me if you want and then I guess you could see my diary?

I guess how many calories I've burned usually by saying about 70 calories per mile run (or equivalent on the stairs or elliptical). I do run pretty hard, although if I'm doing a 10-13 mile run my heartrate is not as high than if I'm doing intervals.

I don't count everyday things (short walks, cleaning, etc) as being part of exercise, I only count formal exercise.

I just can't imagine how I could lose weight feeling so full and bloated. If I added in approx 500 calories I would definitely feel that I was overeating.

I eat very healthy foods. A LOT of veggies, usually 1 serving of fruit a day, lean proteins, whole grains. I usually have a more unhealthy snack (frozen yogurt, popcorn) etc at the end of the day when I realize how many calories I still need to eat.

Any suggestions for someone who is afraid of looking at the number on the scale? It is hard to know my progress. I figured I would just tell my the feel of my clothes, but that can not always be accurate. I could have someone weigh me and tell me if I am up or down, but not the number.
