Motivating Someone Who Is Lazy

I know it's pretty much impossible to motivate someone who isn't ready for change themselves, from within. But I am currently on a mission to get myself healthy and in shape so it is frustrating to sit back and watch someone you love not care about themselves. My boyfriend and I have been together 5 and 1/2 years, both of us getting comfortable and gaining a decent amount of weight. I'm sure we've all been there where we go out to eat, go grab drinks, etc. and get into sort of a "rut." After the new year, I decided to get my act together and finally lose this weight and get back to being healthy. I have lost 15 so far and am in the process of losing my final 10. My boyfriend is super lazy and refuses to make changes to his diet and exercise routine. He would rather sleep or watch TV than go for a walk with me. He says he wants to lose weight, especially after his doctor told him he needs to but I can't seem to motivate him to make the first step. It upsets me that no matter what concerns I express to him, he doesn't really care. Any suggestions or can anyone relate?? Thanks!
