I'm a terrible shopper...partially because I don't (can't?) cook, so I don't really know what to buy to put together a meal.

What are some items on your weekly grocery must have list?

I don't get all of this every time, but I generally have a lot of these around.

Produce: Usually whatever is in season. I get a lot of berries, plums, nectarines and bananas. I also get salad fixins a lot.

    Turkey deli meat
    Peanut Butter (natural)
Whole grain breads (Arnold's has a flax n fiber bread I have been using)
    Joseph's roasted red pepper hummus
Joseph's whole-grain tortillas with flax (LOVE these)
Whole grain rices for a pinch. (I like the Near East brand)
    Whole-wheat or whole-grain pasta
    Pasta sauce
    Baked potatoes/sweet potatoes

    Chicken breast and thighs
    Chicken sausages
Cereal (Kashi, Fiber One and Trader Joe's are my staples)
    Oatmeal

    Yogurt
    Cottage cheese
    2% cheese (cheddar, etc)

    Fiber One Bars
    Eggo Light Nutrigrain Waffles
    Thomas light multi-grain english muffins

    Eggs (or egg whites)

Frozen veggies (I always keep my freezer stocked with broccoli, spinach, etc)

I also like some of the Morningstar Farms products. Chick Patties, Spicy Black Bean Burgers and the Asian patties.

Mccains oven roasted potatoes are great too and the Alexia oven baked red potato wedges.
