TDEE... BMR.. too many acronyms

I want to ensure I'm eating enough. I started on here with the 1200 and have realized its definitely not enough (especially when my net was dropping under 1000).
So I looked at my BMR.. It's just over 1500. Then I looked at my TDEE which is 2500.
So I know you shouldn't eat LESS than your BMR (Right?) Cause thats what your body needs to function. But I would eat 2500 if I wanted to MAINTAIN? my weight?
Basically I'm asking - where the heck should I be sitting with my goals? I don't want to undereat but I'm scared of going way over what I SHOULD be eating. Help!
FYI - I do about an hour a day of cardio and weights mixed together on average.

Have a look here, it has all that info. Basically starting you should eat about 20% less than your TDEE to lose weight. Try not to go under your BMR to stay healthy. All you need is in that forum.0 -

Does your stated TDEE (2500) already include the calories burned from that hour workout each day? If so, then eating 2000 calories per day would target approximately 1lb per week of weight loss. If you've been eating that 1200 calorie diet for an extended period of time, it may take a few weeks for your metabolism to get back to normal, but stick to eating the 2000 calories for a month or two, and you should see the weight loss resume (this time at a healthy level).0
