Insanity rest days

Hello! According to the insanity manual, I should be eating about 1850 calories while on the program. Does that include the rest day? Or should I eat my normal 1200 on the rest day?

    I have learned from some on MFP that it was best for me to figure out my average daily TDEE rather than try to plug in exercise cals each day. This way I'm eating about the same everyday instead of 2600+ some days and 2300 others. It also helps with the hunger on the days I use to only get 2300. It's been working really well as I've been steady losing my .5 lb goal per week.

    The same manual says I have to eat 3400 cals to lose weight. I eat what MFP sets for me plus my exercise calories. Seems to be working for me. On rest days I just try and eat normal. But I'm trying hard to keep my Macros right. 40% Protein, 30% Carbs, and 30% Fats.. That's harder then I ever thought it would be.
