Okay--so where do I start? I was never overweight--I cheered most of my tween/teen years and maintained a ~100-102 pound body at 4'11 with GINORMOUS thighs from all the jumping (cheerleader do a crapton of "jumps" that really require explosive movements and thus strong quads).
I decided when I was a Freshman in college to take Physiological Science and fell in love with it. I became a tutor, TA, and then started working at a gym. I was like a sponge--started reading peer reviewed articles and learning about human metabolism in addition to fitness and training.((i still do loads of reading because I am very ANTI broscience))
Fast forward 1 year--I developed an eating disorder after a bout of depression from a breakup with my HS sweetheart of 5 years--it wasn't about weight loss per se. It was an addiction and a distraction. I weighed about 70 pounds at my worst and still attended class, got good grades, and just wallowed in despair INSIDE. But a light switch went off and I was like WTF?!?!? Why am I doing this--I hated my body and I was ashamed of myself. I recovered, ALONE, and never looked back. Weighed in every Friday-expecting to gain--no gain meant more calories. Too great a gain meant keeping them the same NEVER did I reduce them or starve. I was done with that.
While working at the gym I started training--building muscles and endurance--working my *kitten* off to love my body. I got there--weighing in at 92-95 pounds for almost 1.5 years and then getting into heavy lifting. That's where i am now.Heavy lifting, endurance running, and eating a sh!tload.
I currently weigh somewhere in the 95-100 pound range and lift HEAVY for my size. Never do I drop those calories below 1800 (when trying to drop a few pounds). On a typical day I'm eating 2200-2800 calories with an average of 2400-2500.
So yeah, that's a bit about me. In terms of my personal life--I met the most amazing man here on MFP--he is all that I could ever want and I hope that our future together will be one filled with happiness and the most amazing times!

Oh, and in terms of "what I do" ....I study law in the Northeast and will be graduating in 2014 then returning to CA--where I grew up. I plan to work at a big law firm in order to provide my future family with the life I wish I could have had.
soooo...yeah, if you actually read all of this then WOW I am amazed. LOL. That's me in a nutshell
