Still sore from Running on Saturday -> Elliptical today ok?

I've been doing Elliptical 3/days per week for the past 6 weeks. On Saturday I tried my first jog, and did 2.6miles for 30 minutes. Today (Monday), I'm still very sore.

Question: Should I go to the gym and do my usual Elliptical, or give my muscles another day of rest. I'm reading conflicting opinions on this on Google. I don't think I'm injured, I'm just very sore -- used my muscles in a way that I haven't for a very long time. It's a little difficult to get out of my chair today, but gets easier once I'm up and walking around.
