Walking....too much?

I started using MFP about a month ago and have seen significant results. I have a few questions about my exercise routine. I walk everyday at a 4.5 to 5 mile per hour pace, this usually gives me a 3.5 to 3.6 mph average. I walk 4 miles in the morning, this usually takes 68 to 70 minutes. I walk again in the evening at the same pace and distance. Am I over doing it? I feel good - I look forward to the walks. I do this 7 days a week - I have only missed the second walk once or twice in the past month. I have walked over 200 miles this month - I accidentally erased my pedometer so I don't know the exact miles.
Thoughts or comments are appreciated.......Thanks

I think if your body is OK with it, and time-wise it isn't interfereing with your life, then it's a good thing.
If your knees or hips were bothering you, you might want to back off a bit.

If you feel good, look forward to the walks and you've lost weight, then why would it be too much? If you stopped losing, then maybe you'd have to reconsider your calorie intake, but for the moment it seems that everything's working well for you.
I say keep walking for your mental and physical health!

No, that doesn't sound like too much. Walking is good for you.

Just for comparison... when I trained for my first marathon, I ran over 550 miles in a six month time. If you're walking 200 miles a month...Great job!
