I am 35 years old and weigh 155. I have had 6 kids and after the last one it has really been a struggle losing the weight. My big problem is the excess sagging skin on the belly. Is there any exercises that can help with this? Surgery is not an option and im afraid that no matter how much weight i lose i will still be uncomfortable and not happy with my body. Thanks

I have found an exercise that I can do at work for my lower tummy!!! As I sit at my desk I hold a 3lb ball between my feet and just raise and lower it. Part of the time with knees bent and sometime with legs straight. It doesn't seem to affect the upper abs but I'm not concerned with a 6 pack. I alsojust want to tone up my "baby belly". I have to be careful not to over do it because I will feel it in my back if I do.
Also at home I lie on my back with legs bent, feet up of the floor, and I do crunches where I raise up and reach my arms between my knees towards my feet. Hope these ideas help. Hang in there:)0 -
Working your abs, as Mojomcgee has suggested is the best way to hepl tighten your muscles. Remember though, that extra skin, after a certain age doesn't have the elasticity factor that it once did. major weight loss and post birth "loose skin" may never go away. I lost alot of weight a few years ago, and although much of the skin match the loss, I am, and will always be "soft" around the belly.
Your health and longevity is what is important, right?
I still look at my skin sometimes and shake my head, but i remember that I really do have a six pack..... I just keep it in a cooler!!! LOL
Best of luck!!!

PS. To Mojo..... one of my cats has almost the EXACT coloring as yours!0
