mine is adam lambert's 'whatdya want from me?' when he starts the song 'hey, slow it down..', i can always feel myself pulling back and really checking my speed to make sure i am not going too fast.

what's yours and why?

Mine is on shuffle, so I never get the same 2nd song. It's all got a pretty solid beat though, until you get into Ryan Starr's "Breathe" and Miley Cyrus's "The Climb"

I switch it up a lot, but right now it's "Wheels" by Foo Fighters. It's a good pace song for me.

Long runs (90 minutes or more) I listen to audiobooks or podcasts. I get bored by music and start hating everything on my iPod by that point.

I'm always on shuffle, but - and I know this is kind of old now - I am loving running to Rihanna's Umbrella! The beat is perfect, the groove is amazing... dig the hi-hat and can't hear it enough. Perfect cadence.

OK - I haven't been running for very long, so I have only 1 length of run at this time, which seems long to me (5K, approx 30 mins.), 2nd. song is important, because that's when I flag for some reason...

Kelly Clarkson - What doesn't kill you

    I know - corny!
