Question or thoughts on Peanut butter.

I have been on a peanut butter kick for like 3 weeks now. I have had 2 tablespoons of peanut butter on one slice of whole wheat bread every work day for lunch for about 3 weeks, along with some fruit. Is this bad?

I know it has a lot of good things in it for you, but will all this peanut butter end up catching up with me and causing me to gain weight? I stay within my cals. but still worry about the high cal and fat content. Thoughts???

a calorie is a calorie, no matter what it's from.

    I loooooove peanut butter!

Great protein and it takes just a little to satisfy you. (well, I COULD eat the whole jar! ) but a tablespoon here and there does keep the hunger at bay!

Love it! I make my own...that way I control the ingredients. I only use peanuts and sometimes flax oil if it's not as spreadable as I want.

ohhh yeah.. peanut butter with an apple is the best! and it only takes a small amount to dip your apple in to be satisfiying.

even better if you have the calories...tbsp on peanut butter + a few ounces of dark chocolate, heat in the micro, stir, dip apples into....best desert ever and overal not bad for you. you can also drizzle it over a banana.

    now I'm hungry!

good fats = less belly fat in a healthy diet... like someone else said, a calorie is a calorie ... I say enjoy!
