today I joined a gym they did me up a program for strength training it will be hard for me to get to the gym though with 3 kids and a husband who works late and long hours and no other child care but I plan to go twice a week min will try 3 times a week if possible of strength and 3 days of cardio I do at home e.g tae bo, aerobics and zumba
my question is, is 2-3 days strength training enough? and should I do cardio too? the program they have done up includes 10 mins of warm up on treadmill and 10 mins cool down on treadmill and will take about an hour to get through.
should I maybe finish with extra cardio or leave cardio for the days I do strength and just do the warm up and cool down?
I have hit a plateau and hoping this is going to help me start shifting the pounds again I still have a lot to lose
