Whats the deal with the large BMI range...I know not every one is made equally... 40 lb differnce seems pretty large scale doesnt it?

Actually, it's more that "this RANGE of weights is healthy", in that if you go above or below the wide range of weights, you're outside the optimal health zone. Within that range, if you're a person of average fitness, you stand the lowest chance of having weight-related issues.0 -
To handle both people who are naturally slender and small-boned along with people who are naturally broad and muscular.
Some fine-boned people of your height would be chunky at 150.
Some naturally larger people of your height would be underweight at 115.0
