Bike Riding

Has anyone used riding a bike as one of your main exercises? If so, how much weight did you lose? Did it tone your legs/thighs? How long did it take you to see results? Thanks

    Years ago I was lucky enough to be laid of from a job that had included a company car and, for a few months, had to resort to using my bike as my primary means of transportation. I don't remember how many pounds I lost doing this but I can tell you the before and after pics were dramatically different but I was also riding a lot (probably 60 or 70km per day).
