Okay don't tar and feather me or anything, but just curious how much it will effect my success if I have treats on a pretty regular basis, but still stay within my calories?
for instance last week I had three :blushing: Ice cream cones (thanks to dh bringing a tub of it into the house) THey were all on seperate days and all measure to 1/2 cup of ice cream . I didn't go over my calories, and I often have a hard time trying to get them all in.
I'm just confused about this, I feel bad about it sometimes, but not sure if i need to LOL

I wouldn't feel bad at all... as long as you're getting enough good stuff for nutrition purposes, and you're staying within your calories, then I'd enjoy it!0

I wouldn't feel bad about it either. We need a treat every now and again to keep us sane.0

I couldn't make this life-long if I didn't allow myself treats. Depriving myself leads me to "cheating" and then that generally leads me to failure. I started out with a daily treat and now I'm down to 1-3 times per week. As long as you're eating enough of what your body needs for fuel during the day and you're staying within your calories (like you said) then I see nothing wrong with it! I would like to get down to a treat once a month but I need baby steps to make this change stick!0
